Bea Dorsett has been sewing for others for 46 years. The office of “Busy Bea Sewing” is currently located at 1136 Red Rock Rd, Kamiah, ID.
If an item can be sewn by machine or by hand, Bea can do it! Whether you need boat cover construction/repair or a hole in your jeans stitched up, she’s got you covered (no pun intended). As an animal lover, she is well-versed in unique items for pets and livestock alike. If you’re not sure the item you have in mind can be sewn, just ask!
Her services include custom sewing, custom machine embroidery, alterations, repairs, repurposing and upcycling, and more.
Busy Bea’s Sewing rates are as follows: $10/hr for general sewing services, $20/hr for heavy sewing requiring use of a commercial/industrial machine. For machine embroidery, factors to consider include –
– whether the design is already purchased and ready to load onto the machine
– whether it needs to be digitized
– complexity
– stitch & color count
– etc.
You can often find Bea at farmer’s markets, BBQ days, and other local events. Be sure to browse her creations and ask about recent projects, as she is always sewing something new.
